This is the first Feature Release for Projector, and also fixes a few bugs:
New Feature: Well, this feature is not really "new" in the sense of historical Projector, but it is new to WorshipStorm Projector. By several Friends of Projector requesting that we bring back in-app Song Lyric editing, we've done just that! Check out these online documentation articles explaining everything you would want to know about Song Lyrics in PCO Services (and Projector) starting with An Introduction to Presenting Lyrics with WorshipStorm Projector and more specifics for in-app Editing Lyrics.
New Feature: This one is actually new, and is in an "experimental" state at present. We call it Custom Slide Auto-Create. It's a way that you can leverage your PCO Services Item Details to auto-generate a Custom (text) slide deck for the item right from the PCO Services website. The online documentation is still "under construction", but you can check it out at Custom Slide Auto-Create.
Expanded Feature: A number of Friends have had trouble with the "Export and ZIP" feature that allows you to Export a Powerpoint (or other) slideshow to images and ZIP those images up to be used by Projector as a slideshow. The easiest way of doing that is to ZIP a folder containing the image files, but Projector originally required you to ZIP just the files (and not the folder containing the files). Projector now allows you to use either method, and the documentation now shows the "easy way" - check out the new documentation at Converting Powerpoint to ZIP and give the expanded feature (ZIP a folder containing files) a try!
Fixed: Previous Projector releases had a flaw in the slideshow management and could sometimes "forget" that slideshows were downloaded, requiring that they be re-downloaded and re-converted (or re-unZIPped).
Fixed: Improved offline app startup behavior for Friends who like to "load up the Plan and go offline" and still be able to present. Now Projector will actually allow you to do that!
Fixed: The Projector Sharing popup won't try popping-up if the device is offline.
