This maintenance release fixes some bugs (including a bug and TODO request reported by you!) and adds additional stability, and an important change for supporting you with future releases of Projector.
Fixed: Reordering Custom Slides does not ‘stick’ in the cloud. This has been a long time bug that bit only with ‘media’ slides that have no slide 'body', so you may or may not have noticed it.
Fixed: Removed plan viewing excessive restrictions for Scheduled Viewer users. Projector now shows the same plans and folders as PCO Services shows for those users.
Fixed: When using the Layout Editor on iOS 13 / iPadOS 13, Projector would crash when you exited the color picker.
Fixed (Customer Reported bug): Sometimes Projector would fail to download a file even after refreshing the Plan. This bug usually showed up if you had many attachments linked to a plan and did not allow Projector to download them all before switching to the background, and when you switched back to Projector and refreshed the Plan to retry the failed downloads, Projector would use stale data (an expired download URL) that would not allow the download to complete. We now fetch a new download URL if we detect that the cached one is stale.
Stability: A failed Slideshow download will retry the download when the Plan is refreshed. That behavior for slideshows now matches the normal attachment download behavior.
Stability: A failed Slideshow download is now properly tracked and will be displayed in the Files view.
Stability: A Slideshow that fails the conversion step now appears in Files view with "Conversion Error". The remedy for this error is to manually update the failing slideshow Item in PCO Services (its Media or Item attachment) to use a valid slideshow, then refresh the Plan in Projector.
Customer Requested TODO: Projector will now remember the Layout choice that is made in the Item Settings for a Song (Arrangement) and default to it when loading that Song (Arrangement) in a future Plan Item that has no selected Layout. This not only helps automate new Plan creation, but is an important feature to make the future "Instant Song" feature work properly!
Support: We now collect the Planning Center Name, Email addresses (primary and alternates), and Organization Name of every user who logs in to Projector app. That information is only used to let you know (via email) when new Projector releases are available and other important announcements related to Projector.
